I've even tried running it vanilla, with no mods or DLC, but it doesn't work. I've tried validating the files, completely uninstalling and reinstalling CK2 (including deleting the CK2 file in the paradox interactive folder), and I've tried some other fixes, such as the "fullScreen=no" and "borderless=yes" fix, and the "override_resolution_safety=yes" fix. The hardware is fine, since this PC has run CK2 before on Windows, before I installed Lubuntu.Įvery single time I try to get it to run, CK2 crashes when it begins trying to create/load textures or while trying to load graphics. My PC is running Lubuntu, updated to 21.04. I've tried for a while to get CK2 to run on my PC, but it won't, and I'd like some input. We know spam when we see it and will delete it. This means things like repetitious posting of similar content, low-effort posts/memes and misleading/exaggerated titles on link posts. We all need to support each other to help GNU/Linux gaming grow. Heated discussions are fine, unwarranted insults are not. What exactly did you do, and how, and with what version of what? How have you tried to troubleshoot the problem? Vague, low-effort tech-support requests may get removed. Include relevant details like logs, terminal output, system information. Tech-support requests should be readable by and useful to others.
